Your Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to Your Zodiac Sign
This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement across the community. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.
Given numerous of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is inspired by a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.
Aries – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes Aries much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Much like a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, each the creature and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unabashed passion for treats. Many previous Pokédex entries mention their craving for tasty sap and how it employs its horn to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
Gemini – Super Medicham
Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds very similar to a people-smart Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge amount of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.
The Lion – Super Starmie
Oh, did you assume I was planning to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be far too obvious, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your taste). Fans were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Leo offers to the table. Starmie is also said to be broadcasting radio waves from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, albeit for aliens.
Virgo – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally represented in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant digestive issues. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is strongly mirrored across this creature's entire lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo sends to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a strategy.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to tell how others are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them worry more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.
Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.
Capricorn – Super Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Goat, who often always think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Mega trend.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
