From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their tales. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which sounds very similar to a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds precisely like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpion adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Goat, who often always think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are.
