Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California he was 55 years old.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The celebrated industry figure passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and caught fire on a freeway in LA on Sunday morning, as reported by.
