Rallying from a sixteen-point hole in the final period, the Seahawks triumphed by a single point at home, notching their fifth consecutive victory.
While the Rams had become the first to earn a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the postseason after a 24-month absence.
With this result, the Seahawks now lead their Conference race with a 12-3 record, supplanting the Rams, who dropped to the number five seed with an 11-4 standing.
